Mohammed Faisal Riyad was born on a small island named Sandwip in Chittagong, Bangladesh. He lived there until his 25th birthday pursuing B.S. in Medicine and Surgery to fulfill his parent's dream to see him as a physician. But he always wanted to be a mathematician and a computer programmer. Eventually, he dropped out of medical school and came to the USA in December 2013 to do his B.S. in mathematics and computer science. He earned his B.S. in mathematics with a minor in computer science in 2018 from CUNY Medgar Evers College where he met his mentor Dr. Christopher Blaszczak-Boxe in 2015. Since then he has been working as his research assistant doing research on extensive fields of science and technology.
Throughout his academic years, Mohammed has prepared himself to launch into higher education administration and scientific research and built a solid background of hands-on experience in respective fields. He is a dynamic, motivated professional with the educational background and proven work ethic to conduct deep-dive data analysis, enhance data collection, and strengthen performance strategies. He is also a dedicated leader who is known for conducting extensive simulations and creating detailed models with the skill set to implement best practices, design innovative tools, and integrate optimized systems. Under the supervision and mentoring of Dr. Boxe, he is now preparing to earn his Ph.D. in data science.
